If the dates for an LTC class not work for you – Host A Class. Get at least 4 people and I will come to you and teach the class and arrange for the shooting portion. Contact me and we can arrange it.
Don’t want to take the LTC class in a group? Contact me for a price on a personal LTC class.
Important Notes: The training required by Texas to obtain your license to carry a firearm is a classroom portion between 4 to 6 hours followed with a written test then a Shooting Qualification. THIS IS NOT A CLASS TO LEARN HOW TO SHOOT A PISTOL. If you can’t load and unload a pistol comfortably and safely and shoot a course of fire from 3 to 15 yards consider signing up for the “Package” of the LTC Class and 1.5 hour Private Lesson.
Price: $80 per person for LTC Class
Package of 1.5 Hour Private Lesson Prior to and includes LTC Class $130
I have several safety glasses and hearing protection; and 2 pistols I can “loan” someone for the shooting portion. The only requirement is to use my ammunition at $20 a box. **It is first come first reserve for loaner equipment.***
IMPORTANT DETAILS TO RESERVE CLASS SPOT
To reserve a spot for a class you must pay in full. I will then send you a confirmation email.
FOR LTC CLASS
DO NOT BRING FIREARM TO CLASS PORTION.
No Reload ammunition for shooting qualification. I strongly suggest good quality ammunition. You will need a box of 50 rounds.
Please ensure your pistol is in good working order, safe to shoot, and CLEANED. You don’t want to get frustrated during the shooting qualification or hold up the line. Many times when pistols are not functioning well it is due to being dirty or not lubricated well.
Texas does not allow use of lasers on pistols for range qualification.
Wear close toed shoes like tennis shoes and crew neck shirt like a t-shirt for the shooting portion of class.
Lastly, please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. My goal is to ensure you have a great experience, learn Texas Laws, adopt safe firearm handling skills, and become a Responsibly Armed Citizen.
Since requirements for application for a Texas LTC can change any legislative session, I am including the link to Texas DPS whom administers them. This link will give you all the details you need to apply.
